What is A flatlay?
A wedding flatlay is a beautifully styled photograph of your wedding day details, things like your rings, invitations, vow books, jewelry, and florals. It’s my way of capturing the small but meaningful pieces you’ve carefully chosen to tell your story. These images not only preserve the details you may overlook in the excitement of the day but also add a timeless, editorial touch to your gallery.

Bride's Flatlay
What is A Bride's flatlay?
A bride’s flatlay is a beautifully styled photograph of all the special details that make up your wedding day look. It’s a curated arrangement of items like your invitation suite, jewelry, shoes, perfume, veil, vow book, rings, and any heirlooms or sentimental pieces you’ve chosen to include. By gathering these details together, I can create a timeless, story-driven image that captures the essence of your style and preserves the little things you’ve carefully chosen, because they deserve to be remembered just as much as the big moments.

Groom's Flatlay
What is A Groom's flatlay?
A groom’s flatlay is a beautifully styled photograph that showcases all the carefully chosen details of the groom’s wedding day look. Think of it as a curated display of items that tell his side of the story: tie or bowtie, cufflinks, boutonniere, watch, shoes, belt, cologne, vows, and even heirloom pieces like a pocket watch or family ring. Arranged together in an artful layout, these images highlight the personality and style of the groom while preserving the small details that often go unnoticed but play a big role in the day.

Good To KNOW about wedding flatlays!
1. Gather Items Ahead of Time
Have all your details collected in one place (a box, bag, or tray) before your photographer arrives. This makes it quick and stress-free to get started and ensures nothing is forgotten.
2. Include Both Bride & Groom Details
Flatlays are for both of you! Bride’s items often include jewelry, shoes, veil, and invitations, while groom’s items may include cufflinks, tie, watch, boutonniere, or cologne. Together, they tell the full story.
3. Timing Matters
Flatlay photos are usually taken at the start of the day, before you’ve put on your attire. Make sure your photographer has about 45 minutes to 1 hour to style and capture these details.
4. Less is More (but More is Fun!)
You don’t need every item, just the ones that feel meaningful. That said, extra details like ribbon, florals, or heirloom keepsakes add variety and personality.
5. Florals Make a Huge Difference
Ask your florist to set aside a few loose blooms or greenery trimmings. They elevate flatlay photos instantly and tie them into the rest of your wedding design.
6. I Bring Styling Pieces
If you don’t have your own ring boxes, backgrounds, or ribbons, don’t worry, I’ll bring my own curated collection of styling items to make your flatlays polished and magazine-worthy.
7. Preserve the Memories
Flatlay images are not just pretty, they’re keepsakes of the details you spent months dreaming up. They complete your wedding gallery and are perfect for your album, prints, and even thank-you cards.
